CAMBRIDGE GUITAR WEEKEND - COACHING
SESSIONS
Coaching will be provided by the course tutors.
It is hoped that these coaching sessions will be
attended by all
course participants in open session in order that all may benefit from
the tuition being provided.
In addition it is the aim to have an orchestral piece
sight read
with parts allocated according to ability. This is essentially a
vehicle to provide coaching in performance techniques.
The aim of these sessions is to encourage good ensemble
playing
techniques and to assist in the preparation of pieces to be performed
in the students’ concert. Essentially
this is an ensemble course though time may be available for students to
perform solo pieces. If there is sufficient demand it may be possible
to provide additional solo coaching outside of the course as a private
arrangement.
